When creating/editing columns inside an Extractor, you may come across situations where you cannot pick an element simply because it is hidden inside or obscured by another element. Here are some typical examples:
What if you would like to extract certain Delivery info or Reviews data. Here the information is hidden under their respective tabs. As the Web Extractor does not allow you to interact directly with the webpage itself to activate the different tabs, without turning off styles on the page, you will not be able to visually pick these data.
What if you would like to extract size availability data. Here the information is hidden inside the dropdown. Again, you will not be able to visually pick the data in this case, without turning off styles.
Turning Styles off
Where the information is already loaded on the page, but initially hidden from view, you can use the Turn "Styles" off to force the Extractor to render the page without the websites's styling, thus making the information visible and readily available for selection:
So let's take a look at the Sizes example above, and see how turning off styles would help:
In this case, turning off styles reveals the size information without having to click on the dropdown. Now you can train simply by clicking on the page!
To turn Styles back on, simply click on the button again and you can continue to train as normal.
